We get both Mac and Windows office bundles on our business licence and we got the installers in this week. I've been playing with it today. The application icons are appalling and the menu bars horribly busy but it does seem an improvement overall on the last one. Feels somehow more 'maccy'. The rebuilt Entourage/Outlook is almost a usable email client now...

Any fairly quick questions, post em in and I'll do my best to test things...

OK i can live with the icons and I know the ribbon but is vba working properly? Also is it faster than 2k8. TBH those things are my priority.

It does feel quicker, it's certainly quicker to launch on my system and there's less interface stupidity like things fading in and out and what have you. Haven't really tried any VBA stuff yet - if you've got a bit of sample code you could PM me, I'll see what it does.

Hmm, I mainly use VBA to process very large stock files that come from suppliers and need to be in a certain format to go into our internal DBs.

The macros themselves would be pretty useless without the stock files and i would get shot if i sent them out of the company as they have NDA agreements etc. Thanks for the offer though.
