I bought a very cheap box recently that does that. It's fine if I just use it for doing manual backups, but it goes to sleep after a few hours and just refuses to wake up. It does look smart though, and it's very quiet. I think it was about £5 (excluding disk) and it's solid aluminium, which is nice.

I think I got it from Amazon, but a quick look now and they don't seem to sell it. I've also noticed that there's a redesigned version of the unit now which supports USB3 and up to 4TB drives, which is nice. Sorry I can't be of more help. (8+( Mark
