RDRAM was (and still is) bloody expensive stuff.
What speed SDRAM do you need, how many slots? I've probably got loads of the stuff sitting around here in boxes.

I need PC3200 DDR.
And as many 1GB modules as I can get my hands on, in an even number >.<
Never knew RDRAM was expensive. If you have any of the stuff I need i'd be happy to swap you as I have no use for it ^_^

DDR is not SDRAM (as such), standard SDRAM has 2 notches in not 1 like DDR. Does it need to be ECC?

Uhm...
I'm FAIRLY sure it doesn't. It's for a Power Mac G5, which I think I remember reading somewhere doesn't want ECC.

There are several different PowerMacG5 models so you need to be a bit more specific. A good place to start is the System Profiler (hold down the alt key while you click on the apple menu and it should be the first in the list. This will give you a much better idea of the sort of memory you require. Alternatively, go to the Crucial website site and download the memory scanner tool. It should tell you exactly what type of RAM you require (or will open your web browser at the right page of Crucial website). Have fun.

Righty, the thing is up and running!
Turns out I want PC3200 (Crucial Memory Scanner) DDR SDRAM (Or so the "About this Mac" says =/) in 1GB sticks (to get the most out of the slots) which is non ECC.
So before I go out and spend a wad of cash on some RAM, would anyone like to trade some RDRAM for SDRAM?
