I was debating installing the beta as I have a developer account, but decided against it. So do you like OS 7 overall

I do like it. I've got used to the different icons now.

Its buggy as hell though. At the moment it eats through battery life, the phone is really hot, text sometimes collides with buttons and other text, etc...

Having said that, iOS 6 was the same when that first came out.

Hmm, my iPhone isn't on the list. :(

I thought all of yours had faults and eventually you replaced it with an Android phone.

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk.

My iPhone 3GS (October 2009) is still going strong, it was sent away for repair 3 times in the first 5 weeks, but since it was eventually replaced, it has worked fine.

At work, we've had to replace over a dozen faulty phones (only one was damaged, because it was dropped on a marble floor and we paid to have the screen replaced privately - we contacted the carrier and they said they would use a third party to replace the screen, so we should go straight to them to save their margin).

The background updates work really well.

I've been on iOS 7 since Monday and I've noticed a few times that apps have been updating.

It's quite cool too as the name of the app gets a blue dot next to it to show that it has been updated.

Yep, background updates are great. I've been using them for 18 months or so and it is very comfortable.

Thanks for that. I think that I will wait for the final release to come out.
