Plus would it be a good idea just to put the disk inside the Server taped down so that the person who gets the computer can do as they please?

That's where the mixup came from.

Starting price 99p (the only way not to pay big listing fees), it'll build interest.

Make sure you get a good shipping price.

TBH an old Xeon server isn't worth a lot (I've got 5 or 6 sitting around).

If you set a reserve you'll pay the same as starting for £30.

Generate a CD from here use saspro for the username & 35947 for the team.
If it's got HT processors select 4 CPU's if not select 2 CPU's.

Let me know the ppd from it and I can give you a better price (It'll let me know roughly how fast it is.

All you can do is try listing it.

You'd get more for it selling the board & processors seperately.
£30 sounds about right.

How much does it weigh?

Depending on how you'd feel about selling a PC without knowing whether or not it's reliable, (remember you only paid £15 for it yourself) I personally would stick a copy of Windows on there and run some diagnostics/burn-in tests, just to make sure there are no problems with it before you sell it on.

That's just my opinion though.

:)

I'd sell it as a server, with a copy of Linux thrown in...

Ok so i will just sell the "server" as itself on ebay as a working server with a normal desktop hard drive...

Include specs and some nice pics and i should hopefully get double my money?
