, even with "active" cooling? Meh, no WCG for the Mini then I s'pose, always got the quad-core machine anyhow, plus the Macbook Pro seems to manage it.

I reckon it'll be fine.

If it starts to get hot, surely it will throttle itself?

In the worst case scenario, it'll just turn itself off.

It will. My Mini has run at 100% CPU for months on end without a problem. Any machine that's designed to Intel's TDP cooling specifications should.
