I really like it - it takes some getting used to but I don't find it any harder to use than Photoshop Elements 8. I often install it on my non-linux operating systems too. It's certainly a hell of a lot lighter than PSE and much much cheaper!

Agreed.

It's been my default graphics editor for years now and apart from it being back-assward at times and not very tablet friendly it's fantastic. The value-for-money is certainly unbeatable.

That said I would never recommend it to a beginner - it can be nigh on unfathomable at times.
