Hi, How would I go about using this generic driver?
the ati driver makes a mess of the screen when I install. I have to run the file from the command prompt and it appears to install correctly but then when I try ans type anything on the screen the command prompt just moves to the right.
So I think a generic driver is a good way to try next
One thing that does puzzle me however.
when I start the linux install with 'linux noprobe' the system still probes for the ati card and finds it X700 PCIE
Is it possible to disable this probe and get the system to recognise a generic video display regards
