It works with mine. I don't get all the fancy gestures using more than 2 fingers but I mainly use mine with an external keyboard, monitor and trackpad now so I rarely use the built-in trackpad.

That was one of the first things I did on a 27" iMac in the Apple Store the other day: open up a Terminal in full screen mode and drool....

Lion installed this morning and a quick glance revealed some things I don't like. 1) mouse scrolling, 2) default mail view. They're both easily fixed I guess so not too many grumbles. Will have a proper play tonight and see what's what.

Yes there are a lot of grumbles about Lion. I hate the way Safari acts now. I have not installed Lion but Safari now has more iOS style usage and refreshes every time you click away from a page.

I got used to the scrolling fairly quickly on Lion. I still have SL with a magic mouse at work, so now I have to go both ways. I think the default view (the 3 pane view) is fine on widescreen displays but not on 4:3 ones and to be honest I'm still undecided which I prefer, new or classic. I am loving mission control with a magic trackpad mind.

I completely understand natual scrolling on a touch device as you effectively move the page around on the device. On the magic mouse looking at a vertical screen it just feels odd to me. It might be something I revisit in the future but for now I'm sticking with the old method.
Not had a chance to play with mission control yet.
Is there any reason to replace the mouse with a trackpad now on Lion? I never considered it before but it seems to be making more sense the more I think about it. I've got a Wacom too but never use that to drive the OS, it only comes out when I've got some editing to do.

Maybe not if it's a magic mouse but I am finding the gestures very useful. Two finger sideways = 'back' in Safari & that kind of thing. Jon

Snowy supported that. It took a lot of swearing to get Lion to do the same. Still doesn't work on the trackpad

Erm... yes it does. Snow leopard used three fingers to "swipe" back and forward in Safari. Lion uses two fingers to do the same thing but swipes the other way. i.e. swipe from left to right with 2 fingers = back.

2 finger swiping on my MBP's trackpad does the screen move thing to dashboard (even though I've set that to use 3 fingers). Doesn't go back in firefox (but does on the mouse & magic trackpad)
