A bit of everything IMO. Given how much they're going on eBay for there is definitely demand but given how quickly they sold out I'm guessing they didn't have that many to sell in the first place. I think marketing is in there somewhere otherwise they would have allowed pre-orders and that would have made selling process more orderly. However top notch smarthphone for £239 is always going to be popular and people will trip over themselves to buy it. It went on sale in States today, same story as last time: problems with the site and it looks like it just can't be bought. I've just got a Galaxy Nexus. Last years model I know, but seems ok to me. Running Jellybean and all that. As a mac user it's a bit strange but I'm getting there and it didn't cost as much as a piefone.

Both version are available in UK Play store right now, 16gb shipping 1-2 weeks, 8gb 4-5 weeks. Only one of each per customer.
Got 16gb version myself

I've decided to play "wait and see" on the Nexus 4. I may wait for the Nexus 5 as I've just come into possession of a HTC One X.
