Never had a problem with Crucial, I've got Crucial RAM ranging from six years to three months old, and it's all been reliable, done the job, etc.
I've no 'horror' stories about other vendors, because I haven't bought from them, I've not had any problem with 'stock' RAM (from Apple/Dell/etc)

Also never had any problems with Crucial, I've used them to upgrade older PCs and even Netbooks without breaking the bank. I'm also about to put 4GB of Crucial into my new MBP, I'll report any problems, but I don't expect to encounter any.

Not bought RAM from anywhere but crucial for the last 8 years. Not had any problems so far.

I bought 4 sets of Ballistix and two were faulty. Then I bought some of their standard ram for an old HP which was also dodgy. Like I said not ALL the ram they make is likely to be faulty.

However Frank, so far, no one else on this board has had any problems. And between us that is a whole lot of sticks of ram bought from crucial.
TBH I would question your handling of the memory .. either you are doing something wrong or crossed a leprechaun at some stage of your life.
