It doesn't matter what you say, because you don't know, just like we don't. Not caring, that's a different kettle of fish … (8+p Mark

I actually liked the image of the case so hence my posting the link. Though all this speculation is over the top. I am happy enough waiting till it is released and then seeing if I want one, have the money, and a tempted is another matter.

Money is the thing I'm concerned about. How much is an iPhone 4G going to actually cost me.

LOL +1 I'm starting to save each month a little bit so I can buy it outright and use it on PAYG. I'm fairly tired of paying ridiculous amounts for contracts that I don't really use.

That is another concern for me. I do not plan on replacing it for a few years so not really worried about when I get it. It also depends on what contracts are available.

Gizmodo has the prototype or fake, but the details given make for a very convincing case that it's the real deal. http://gizmodo.com/5520164/this-is-apples-next-iphone

I wonder what the 5G will have that the 4G will be missing. I won't get the 4G no matter how good as my contract won't let me out (and anyway I love my 3G).

“Sorry Apple Engineer” Who Lost iPhone Likely ID’d Says Gizmodo Publisher http://www.cultofmac.com/sorry-apple-en ... +of+Mac%29Apparently they paid $10 000 for that iPhone, but could be in serious trouble for handling stolen property. Because under california law they are legally obliged to return it to the owner, Apple. And more information about what it includes. http://www.ismashphone.com/2010/04/diss ... shPhone%29

Interesting. Apple are taking the polite course - they could just have told the police that Gizmondo had been purchasing stolen goods (under Californian law, if you find something and don't return it or hand it in to the police, you're considered to have stolen it).

Apparently, there's a story that an MS employee left a prototype Windows 7 phone series device in bar.
It's still there.

Well apparently it is now a criminal matter http://www.macdailynews.com/index.php/w ... ng_purcha/Under California Law it is theft if you do not return it to its owner, but paying someone not to return it is incitement to theft.
