A mate who uses a PC sometimes generates pdfs that he sends to Belgium. The chap on the other end has a Mac. Sometimes the Mac can't open the pdf and at other times it can. Any idea why this might be? pdfs are produced by an app called cutepdf on his PC M. le Chat |

Can they be opened in Adobe Reader on the Mac? I would guess that CutePDF isn't generating 100% standard code and Apple's Preview app is a little finicky about non-compliant PDF code... The sender could try switching to qvPDF or freePDF and see if they are more reliable. |
