Win 7 64 bit ultimate.

Every so often the system just stops no warning no BSOD just fine to nothing.

Thinking maybe PSU.

Thoughts ?
How do I find out what PSU I have / need ?

Depending on the rest of the components in there I'd say you'd be more than fine with a 500w-600w good quality PSU (i.e. cost over £40 and from a well known brand)

Switch if off.
Keep it unplugged.
Take note of what cable goes where, then unplug everything.

Installation is the reverse of removal.

well it took ages but I've changed the PSU over, letting it run for the time being to test it. Damned floppy drive don't work but I'm sure i connected that up

Edit : moved it, something must have been loose, cannot find NTLDR

Edit2: impressed with Win 7. Stick the DVD in and boot, shall I fix it for you ? and it did. :D

You know the thing you had to put your SATA drivers on before Win 7 came along. :D

A Vista or Linux DVD?

I gave up on Windows XP, when it started farting around complaining that my SATA drive wasn't connected. I just put Vista or Linux on the machines.
