After six months of interruptions to do paid work, I've finally finished my site! Still a few tweaks to do here and there, so I haven't "officially" launched it, but at least it's up there now… www.chillifish.com if you're at all interested. |

Took me a while to run each page through the validator and fix the odd bits I missed, but as it's all hand coded, I think it's easier to get right as you just have to remember to close tags when you open them. |

In Internet Explorer, the image load on a blank page (where you have the lightbox like effect in Firefox, in IE I just get a blank white page with the image on, I then have to click the browser's Back button to return to the page). This happens on Firefox with NoScript (no surprise) and IE9 32-bit and 64-bit. |

Cheers, yeah I figured that would be an issue for people with JavaScript disabled, but since so few people do it and those that do are by nature tech savvy, I decided to leave it! |

The IE problem is with javascript enabled. I'm guessing a JS domain reference the IE doesn't understand. |

Aah right. I've just noticed on the clients page, I forgot to put the javascript in anyway! I'll do that and look into it. I've tested it on IE 6, 7 and 8, but don't have 9 or 64 bit! Thanks for your help Dave. |

Looking at the HTML code for the images, there is a body tag with just the image in it, nothing else... I don't have time to look at it at the moment, but it looks like the onclick javascript for the lightbox isn't compatible with IE9 - or if you are loading exception code for specific IE versions, it isn't being loaded for IE9... I'll try and look this evening. |

Thanks Dave, is ie9 still beta? I'll check it out, but what you're suggesting sounds most plausible. |

A brief google suggests it's an issue with IE9 and JavaScript. Clicky. |
