New improved camera — 3.2 Megapixel Auto-Focus, exactly as rumored; OpenGL 2.0 support for 3D graphics….no front-facing camera. Video support. Touch anywhere in a camera image to focus on that area/object(!). Macro (close-up) mode, low-light settings.

Voice Control features: talk in plain english to control iPod.ipa (music player app), make calls (”call {contact name}”), “ask” what’s currently playing, execute a specified playlist, and the list goes on!

Me either!
Just waiting for a UK price to be confirmed first.

Snow Leopard is Intel only. Sorry, folks. PPC Macs will be stuck on 10.5. :(

I thought they might have managed to support G5s, but I think it's because Apple have finally got the OS 64-bit.

AAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH

I can't believe it has no WiFi "N" support!!!!!!!!!

That was my main feature I wanted. Oh well I'll have to get the new Airport. Hopefully the remote app for iPhone will work if the ATV is in N mode.

I presume the new hardware that is rumoured for the end of the month could be a new ATV

Is this fact?
I've been looking for confirmation but couldn't find any mention of it.

Look around 10.46.

Snow Leopard will be available for all Intel Macs, past and present (sorry, PowerPC folks). How shall we price it? Leopard is $129. We want all users to upgrade to Snow Leopard, because Snow Leopard is a better Leopard. So it's priced at $29—for Leopard users. Family pack at $49. Available in September. Near final Developer Preview available today.

That is fact, we knew this ages ago though.

Very strange, they have removed the CPU details under tech specs on the iPhones.

And the 3Gs weighs a whopping 2grams more

It'll make a nicer thud when you drop it now. ;)

No we didn't, we strongly suspected.

I though they might still support the G5s with it, but it looks like the 64-bit architecture needed just that bit more the Intel CPUs and associated GPUs can give.

The end of an era.

At least the dual-core/quad-core G5s.
Ah well, it means I can spend my money on other things I guess.
It does look like I'll need to get my GPU upgraded at some stage though, especially as more of the graphics are likely to be pushing processes to the GPU.
