One of our users has made some screen capture software (Captivate), but the resolution is too high, we need to down-size it to something useful.

It can be exported to AVI or SWF...

I think Handbrake can do that with AVIs.

For simple things like that, I find VirtualDub still does the job. You'll need to make sure you have the codec you plan on using.

I use Total Video Converter by OJOSoft - cracking bit of kit - can read most formats of video and convert into almost any other video format.

On a similar subject, does anyone know any software that can rotate a video by 90 degrees.
You know, for when someone's filmed a clip on their compact camera, but held in portrait.
