Post subject:  Medical Software on iPhone

Watching the keynote, I noted with interest that doctors can sue them to monitor patients remotely - even down to the level of watching a live feed from the “machine that goes ping” and analyse the graph data being produced. They can then communicate with the hospital if needed.

Given the number of farts machines, jiggly boobies and other idiotic software, its good to see the iPhone being used for something far more sensible. There is a PeakFlow graph app which I am interested in - but I doubt my GP’s surgery could cope with the data. Every so often, then ask for a couple of week’s worth of data.

Can't see it ever being used, and I'd be quite interested to see a case of a doctor suing an iPhone. :D

MacBreak Weekly pointed out, during the live feed from WWDC, that the Apple licence prohibts their use as medical equipment... Are they going to re-write it now?

The diabetes software does look really interesting.
