I'm looking for a fairly basic bit of software to create a stop motion video.
I have a load of images that have been taken of one of our build sites over a few weeks and I'd like to create a stop motion video of them.
Ideally I'd like to get them playing at 30ish frames per second but iMovie only allows a minimum of 0.1seconds per image.
Can anyone suggest any other software? Or does anyone know of a way to change iMovie to work faster?
Thanks
Oliver

QuickTime can do that, at least QuickTime 7 could, I don't seem to be able to find the command in QTX. Hmm …

In which case you can grab your Snow Leopard DVD and install QT7 to do it

Well I had a play with the images on my work PC using Movie Maker and it looks excellent. But Movie Maker only goes up to 8 fps for images. I have found a workaround in iMovie to get faster than 10fps which is to create the movie at 10 fps and then create a new movie and import the current one but increase the speed of it to 300%. Free is good for me at the moment

Well... I'm importing them into iMovie now.
I didn't think it would take THIS long. There are 18GB of images (17,000 @ 1.1MB each).
So far it's been going for 2 hours and it still says 2 hours remaining and that's just to import them, LOL!

D'oh! I'd forgotten to remove the Ken Burns effect before importing Starting again as it appears you can only remove the effect photo by photo

Why are you using iMovie? QT Player can import a series of images at the frame rate you specify. MUch quicker to do than rely on iMovie to handle it all.

QT Player? I didn't know about that. I thought only QT Pro could do that?
