Seriously?! I ask a question in a "Gadget" forum, on a website full of geeks and nobody knows what a fracking droid is? |

Given the fact that you started the thread on Thursday, and nobody responded for three whole days, I think the answer is fairly obvious. ![]() |

Orange San Francisco £100 (+£10 top up on PAYG) for an Eclair (I believe a Froyo rom is floating about), a good dev community and already a FREE unlock method and rootable for extra goodies like ad blocking ![]() Gets very good reviews for a budget phone, 4.5 on Techradar http://www.techradar.com/reviews/phones ... 915/review |

For the extra £80 you'd be much better off with a 2nd-hand Desire, the Wildfire is limited in functionality. |

I would only ever buy a contract phone or a cheap seconhand one so I agree with you. |

Yet the San Francisco is better specced (WVGA over HVGA for a start) and £110-120 cheaper than the wildfire, you can just unlock it as soon as you get it then put any other sim card in |

![]() I don't think these droids use sim cards. They might be a bit expensive though? |
