I'm being offered a "package" from BT. Now excluding issues that people have with BT, I'm quite happy with them.

Basically they are offering a fixed price all phone calls, line rental, broadband etc for £ 1.35 per day.

Currently I have an "uncapped" broadband package but this one has a 10Gb per month cap. So how do find out what my normal usage for a month is? :?

Do BT not have a section of their website (if you log in with your current package details) that displays the amount you've used in the last month? Normally, it's split up between peak-hours and off-peak hours. Hopefully, the 10Gb allowance on the new package is only for peak-hours, yes?

Can't speak for BT, but PlusNet allows unlimited usage between off-peak hours, so it only counts peak-hours usage

£1.35 a day?
That's over £40 a month and is more than their most expensive combo package on their website (unlimited download and anytime calls, just under £38 pcm after the promotional period ends with).

I did 3Gb in an hour yesterday, on one machine. I use iStat menus to track uploads and downloads. Though you need to do it on each machine. I hate caps, you only need a big OS update to cause you problems.
