HI,
I am trying to copy some iso files (3 x 4.2gb) to an empty 16gb usb stick. When I try this I get an error saying the stick is full. When I copy a text file there is no issue.. can anyone shed some light please?

If your USB stick is formatted with FAT32 then 4GB is your file size limit iirc

ooh that sounds like it might be the issue..
Ok 2 more questions..
1) I am running XP home - can i format as NTFS and it will still work OK?
2) Is there a simple way to reformat/convert as I have other sticks that have data on that could have the same issue?

Just go to the Command Prompt and execute the command:

C:\> CONVERT C: /fs:ntfs
Where C: is a name of the drive you want to convert.

Wouldn't it be easier and quicker, (assuming it's possible) to just right click the drive in "My Computer" and select Format from the menu, changing the FS to NTFS, and maybe selecting quick format...?

Or am I missing something, (again)?

possibly, wil try it, i do have some sticks with data on them, and I am assuming the covert will keep this data. I will try both ways...

Yes, running the convert command should keep the data, but I mentioned the format option as you'd mentioed that the stick in the OP was empty.
