I am looking for a utility that would show work load on my 8800gt. Something like "Performance" tab in Windows Task manager. Does anybody know one?

Didn't nVidia have a driver tweak that represented GPU load as a rising column at the edge of the screen?

It overlayed games, videos etc.. so you could see if a game was hammering your GPU.

I don't know, that's why I am asking. Do you know how to use that driver tweak? I've never heard of it...

I only ever used it when I had an SLI setup, that was way back in the 6 series. A quick trawl through some forums confirms it was a feature of the SLI drivers, not available for single GPUs.

Have you tried GPU-z? It features a load graph on my card (ATI), it may be worth a look.

I had a look for at GPUz and it can't do it. Even google can't find any utility to do this. There is about 8 graphs in Rivatuner but not the one I'am after.
Oh well...

funny you should ask, nvidia released an update for system tools, and i just found that it allows you to monitor GPU load/framebuffer usage :D

clicky its a big old download, but theres an awful lot in there. look under start menu > all programs > nvidia corparation > nvidia system monitor, navigate to the GPU section and its in there :)

hopefully it wont be too long until someone makes a plugin for rivatuner,i have a sidebar gadget that reads the system monitor values, and it would be so convenient. theres already one for ATi cards so it could happen :)

Nice one, thank you very much.

It works well. I always wanted to know how hard does my GPU work when it accelerates 1080 HD rips. My E6750 @ 3.2ghz is not fast enough to do it on its own but 8800gt uses only 5% of its clock potential even during most complex scenes. Amazing.

Cuda is the future....
