So this is where I've been getting myself into bother already - not using the correct tech. speak and so finding myself in "networking 1.01" chats... which of course, I've never listened to, so keep repeating the same mistakes.
"connect to" - as in, (I think) RDP - ie. leave my work computer on when I leave, login in from home, and "control" the workstation remotely - using the software/the server access etc, as if I were there.
We have VPN setup for our directors (who insist on never being without or too detached) but isn't that typically for server folder access, rather than remote controlling workstations?
