Adobe issue more like.
Have you tried running Adobe’s update to ensure it’s all up to date? Failing that, try uninstalling and re-installing the software, I suppose. Then a call to Adobe.

I'm going to try reinstalling it this afternoon but I've dumped the prefs, repaired permissions but the issue is not resolved. Keep getting the spinning wheel of death when opening and it's initalising the settings. Anyone else had problems? It's running on a new Macbook Pro late 2010 on 10.6.7. Thanks C |

Brand new Macbook Pro so that's highly unlikely.
Agreed! I uninstalled and reinstalled and then it buggered up AE3 then ditched the prefs again and it seemed to work. Was having problems with a couple of .mov files but last time I checked it all seemed to be working so I closed the ticket quick before it screwed up again!  TY for your input |
