I have a user with Outlook 2007 and he has set his "out of office" on as he is away this week.

Now if someone sends him an email they get the out of office message ok - however if they then send him another message (later in the day for example) they get no such message :?

Bug in Outlook ?

It's meant to be that way. You get one out of office message per day. If they send a message tomorrow, they will get another out of office message.

Its just the way outlook is set up when you send a message to a person the first time somebody is away you get an alert email back.

It does actually say if you set it over OWA:

I thought there was an option to change it, but I can't find one.

It's by design.
It's a feature of Exchange
