Looks like a big announcement is coming on June 6th.
Apple have organised their WWDC and are inviting developers from around the world to the event.
My guess is a Mac OSX Lion announcement and I'm thinking (having read other rumours about Lion) that there will be an "Available Today!" announcement...
Hopefully.
Or possibly an iOS 5 and iPhone5 update.

Jebus, E3 and WWDC on the same day. I fear my head may explode.

Bugger me, I wonder how big a download that will be! I guess that'll be about £30 over here, then.

4GB apparently. Avail in July. Also iOS 5 looks fricking awesome! Loads of new updates! And these are BIG updates. Twitter integration into the OS. Notification Centre runs as a separate app (swipe down from top to enter it). Camera updates shutter button is up volume, also available directly from lock screen. Safari has tabbed browsing and Safari Reader (already on OSX). Mail updates also Generally everything is new.

They finally fixed iOS updates.
Updates are now over the air and incremental!
Finally you no longer have to download a 500MB OS when they have just removed location tracking.

Wow. I was wondering if I actually needed Lion, because of the cost, but really, at £20 why not? Although I'll probably wait - if only because I'm not entirely sold on some of the 'features' they've rolled into it. I'm not sure the iOS-ification of my desktop OS is actually that desirable.

iCloud looks awesome.
Integration into pretty much everything.
Pages, Numbers and Keynote get auto uploaded and downloaded to all authorised devices (with versioning on Mac). Contacts, calendars get auto sync. Photos get auto synced to the cloud. iDevices get the last 1000 photos (automatically), cloud keeps 30 days of photos, mac and pc get (and keep) all photos. Music gets auto synced across all devices. Buy a tune on your iPhone and it appears almost instantly on your iPad.
Also there are numerous iCloud APIs for iOS 5 so apps can access and sync across the cloud!
5GB of storage (not including Photos).
Also the "One More Thing" was iTunes Match. A service that will go through your ripped library and find any songs available on the iTunes library and update them to your "purchased" library so that they can be retrieved and synced to other devices automatically. There is also an option to upgrade the songs to 256kbps AAC format (with no DRM).
iTunes Match is $24.99 a year for up to 20,000 songs. (Not sure entirely what this means though?) If you stop paying do you stop being able to play the tunes?

With three compatible macs I think that it will be a great deal for me. I think that I will wait and see the outcomes from the first adopters before installing.

So £21 makes it a bargain, as long as it all goes well. I wonder if I can use my Time Capsule to keep the disk image on for installing on all my machines?

Apparently a US-only feature, at least at launch anyway... From: http://www.macworld.co.uk/digitallifest ... id=3284311Going on previous track record, expect iTunes Match to arrive in the UK, ohh, sometime in 2012. The rest of iCloud sounds pretty ambitious stuff (if it works), though I'm guessing the system specs for the Mac side are 10.6.7 or later - so not for me anyway, my G4s are stuck on 10.5.8 sadly. I wonder what happens to people's existing MobileMe data, iWeb sites hosted on there for example could be an issue. That's my only worry on trusting Apple with a free service, as sooner or later, on a whim, Apple will probably make it into a paid for service again. Like they did with iTools when it became .Mac (MobileMe's predecessor).
