| Post subject: | Weird Safari Display Font? |
Hi I was recently having a few issues on the Mac so had a bit of a blitz and cleaned out the system a bit. I cleared the font cache, and ever since Safari's default font has been a strange 'comedy' font for the bulk or text. It's obviously one I have somewhere, but one I would never activate knowingly. I don't know the name to root it out and delete it so don't know if it's a system font or one form my collection. Can anyone shed some light on how I might be able to get Safari using a normal font please? I'm using FontBook on 10.6.7 - soon to upgrade to Suitcase soon though!... Thanks! Ben |

Ha! Fixed it!! I had searched this previously and no answer - searched again just now and found someone fixed it by looking in the 'Web' fonts in FontBook.... and in there was the rogue font, disguising itself as Ariel... |

That’s odd, because I found this weird font called Arial which was pretending to be Helvetica.
