Hello good people.

My brother's girlfriend's laptop has a 3 mobile broadband things which doesn't work. It's a Huawei E220 and I have the many problems with it.

It did actually work for a few mins. Now I can't get Google to come in IE or FF. All the software connects, I checked the firewall, but Google (or any site) doesn't work.

I think it has to be one of these but no idea which (I hate mobiles);

1) No credit - Not sure if it's contract or PAYG as my brother got the modem off a friend.
2) Firewall - I tried turning Windows one off, took another one off, but it did work for a while which makes me doubt it.
3) It hates me.

So, any suggestions? I'm a bit stuck really.

Maybe a credit issue but TBH, mine has been incredibly unreliable as well (on contract). Perhaps you should either ask the person it was purchased from or call Three up (I have found this not to be a good idea though) and see if they can help.
