Hi all, I've got a PDF I'd like to print out, I need to email it to someone to print it, but it's too big to send. I need to email to, I can't share it or give a link to download it. I need to strip off about 6-7MB... Any ideas how I can achieve this? Many thanks, Ben |

Can't you compress it (Zip etc.)? |

Ah ha! That might be an option... Sas, I'm not sure I could dropbox it...The guys in the printing room asked for an email, so that's what I'll give them...Bit a zip/gz/bz might be a good way to go |

Ace, zip -9 and a few seconds later and it's just over 7mb smaller! |

Grrr, the mail server seemed to see the 19mb zipped file as something over 25mb ![]() I ended up splitting the document in two... |

FTP? What’s wrong with using that? Email isn’t meant for such large files. |

Yeah I know...One of the transfers failed, I might take it on a CD tomorrow and give it to them... |
