Does anyone know of any similar items?

I need something that will allow me to use 2 screens off 1 vga port. However both screens must be independant (so different stuff on each).

Idea would be to have my 19" in middle, and a 17" either side. Just preparing for next year and the subsequent work. (Research, essay and notes per screen, would certainly make life easier).

I think i have the screen phobia, had 1, got another, jus bought another, keep wanting more.

Good thing with the smaller sizes is that they are perfect for essay writing (wouldnt be able to use a 22" or suchlike widescreen as it would all look so odd and perturbing) and dont use too much gpu power up.

Anyway.. suggest and conspire away :)

3 screens is very difficult to work on.
Just slap another card in the PC for the extra screen (a cheap £20 job will do)

Hibby jibby.. :) (wow that really made me make no sense.. gah)

Urm, so are you saying its hard to get 3 screens working, so get a seperate GPU, or are you saying that its hard too work on 3 Screens?

Also can you get a different GPU working in the same system? I always thought dual GPU's had to be the same model to work, and even then if you put them in SLI only 1 would output any picture.

Probably confused, somebody explain please?

(does this mean I could get like a 7600GT and use the VGA sockets on that?)

(scrap that, whys the 7600gt so expensive!, better look down the list lol)

3 screens is difficult for you to work on. It gets very hard to concentrate on more than 2 screen, I usually have one doing nothing (I use a 24" & 2x 20" myself).

You can mix and match cards in a machine but you can only SLI matching cards.

For example I used to have an 8800GTX & an 8400GS in a machine to use 3 screens on. I currently have a GTX280 & a 8800GT in a crossfire board to do 3 screens.
