Apple to roll out new feature to their shops. They will have shelves, right, with stuff on. And people will stand in front of the shelves but with like, a really long desk in front of them between them and you. And you go up to them and you tell them what you want, and then they go and get it off the shelves, and you pay, and they give it to you!

I don't know why anyone hasn't thought of this before.

I believe Apple have all ready launched legal action against Tescos, Dixons et al to protect this innovation!!

I think the Argos model works very well for stores that stock thousands of different and often quite large items that simply wouldn't fit in the space. The alternative is the Ikea model, which I absolutely loath and detest. And despise. And hate. Trapped in a maze where you can see the exit, but it's still a years march to reach it...

I imagine the Apple "express" model is more like Ratners. Limited amount of shiny stuff behind a counter, all in little bags.
