I have a Samsung 226BW and want to know how near I could place some unshielded monitor speakers. Its not ideal but would I get any issues if one was placed behind and slightly below my screen? Are there any long term implications with this proximity?

Thanks

On a tft not really any problems.
CRT's used to get effected but TFT's don't.
How big are they? Sticking them behind the screen will colour the sound a bit but thats all.

Thanks Saspro

Thought as much but was just double checking. They are bookshelf size monitors and will have plenty of poke so I dont think the sound will suffer too much. Also it is only the front centre for a 5.1 setup. Will be a bit of a Heath Robinson setup out of kit I already have sitting around collecting dust and thought its time to put them to some use.
