Quick question, how do you get a DVD screen capture? Is there some free software about? I fancy nabbing something off my BSG DVDs to use as a background. Cheers ![]() |

Quite a lot of things won't grab from DVD player - it uses some weird overlay system meaning all you grab is a blue rectangle. I've done screen grabs in the past by ripping a very small section of the DVD with handbrake and grabbing an image from the playback of that. There are a couple of 'DVD grabber' apps, but all the ones I know of stopped working about Mac Os 10.4. Jon |

Play it on the PC using VLC and then use the screen-grab function. |
