Using Leopard etc, would you be better off with dual 867MHz processors, or a single 1.25GHz? (G4 PPC).

I thing the 1.25 has a faster bus speed as well as faster RAM, just weather the bus speed makes that much of a difference between the dual 867Mhz and the 1.25Ghz I don't know.

Apple did specify the 867MHz processor was the lowest one that could reasonably run Leopard.
I'd go for the 1.25GHz jobbie if you can.

Regardless if it's single or dual I'd do the same, personally. Mark

Oh lordy, didn't we go through this recently, Mark? I'd go with what Mark says in that case.

I think it was in the other place and it was concerning a dual 1.25Ghz v a single 1Ghz FW800. I'm pretty sure I went the dual 1.25 route, but I'll have to check when I get home. Mark
