According to Samsung, it is because the Galaxy S doesn't have enough memory to run ICS + Touchwiz.
So, take the useless Touchwiz interface away and offer people the vanilla experience!

No ICS upgrade for the Galaxy S. Or for the Galaxy Tab 7 inch either. This is especially odd since the Nexus S, which is exactly the same hardware as the Galaxy S just not Samsung branded, is getting ICS. |
