Woop! Just ordered a shiny new 11" MacBook Air with 256GB SSD and 1.8GHz i7  10 months interest free finance. Will arrive in the next few days!

Still waiting! I spoke to Apple yesterday and they said that Barclays are currently processing loan applications from the 6th. So they are a week behind. That means mine will hopefully get processed next Monday (i.e. the 19th). Which means it might ship by the 22nd or 23rd which means there is little to no chance of me getting it before Xmas which means it'll be prob the beginning of Jan before I get it! NOOOOOOOOOO!!! I don't know if I can wait that long!!!!!!!!!!!! (Ooh, just found something out... hold down a letter when typing on your mac and see what happens) Probably only if you have autocorrect on, it pops up a little option thing to type alternatives of that letter. So I can type o [apparently x404 doesn't like these  ] all through one button and the number 1 to 8. Very cool.

Just applied for finance too I've already got 16GB RAM sitting in my drawer waiting for the 27" iMac to arrive I've kitted it out with a 3.4GHz i7 and upped the graphics to the AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2GB. No idea when it'll arrive, but VERY EXCITED!

Jealous! LOL! I know I've got something on order too but a 27" iMac (specced to max) is next on my shopping list (well, my tech shopping list anyway). What storage did you get?

The bog standard 1TB HDD. I've got another 1TB USB drive for Time Machine, and have recently kitted out a 4-bay ReadyNAS NV+ with 4x2TB disks. Aye, TBH I'm quite jealous of your MBA, I've been looking at them for a while, but can't justify it as I hardly do anything on the move...

Just had Apple on the phone. Barclays will pay Apple in 24 hours and I'll get the iMac between the dates above (due to backlog over Christmas and New Year).

Nope, I spoke to them this morning to get an update and no word yet. Will call again tomorrow, I did have a call a few days ago saying that Barclays would only accept the order if the delivery address is the same as the billing address which I said yes to and so expected it to move forward... That was Friday IIIRC.

Spoke to them again this morning and the guy said that someone will be getting in touch to change the delivery address to the same as the billing address.
I said that I had that phone call on Thurs/Fri last week and he said I should have heard something by now.
He's going to escalate it.
I'll call back this aft to see what's going on.

I've spoken to them everyday this week and they all say there is a delay with Barclays and they'll get back to me and they never fricking do!
