Finally I've got my app working with multiple threads. It has meant a HELL of a lot of changes to the way the app fits together but it actually makes more sense now (and works quicker using the bitwise operations from the other thread). It now means I can correctly implement an activity indicator in the main thread and accept user inputs when "thinking" and just cancel the input (or do something like disabling the unusable buttons etc... |
