I used to use Netscape, then I moved onto Seamonkey. But is there anything better (that's free) to build a simple web page with? |

Notepad?  Being a Mac user, I'm not sure of what's available in the PC world. I'm sure there are dozens of freebie code editors available, but I'm going to try and be a bit more helpful. Chrome has a built-in Developer thing. I just had a play, and while it lets me work out how a page is put together, I can't see how to add any code to it. There are web developer add-ons for Firefox. Just search for Web Developer. Firebug comes highly recommended by some of my friends. |

Depends, do you have your own webspace? If yes, it really depends on what kind of site you're building but I recommend a CMS such as Drupal or Joomla. If no, Google sites is free and easy to use. You can even buy your own domain name and point it towards your site . |
