Printer Driver

Hey folks, I'm looking for a printer driver for an HP LaserJet 4050 for 10.8 Mountain Lion.
Officially, HP doesn't support this printer/OS configuration.
What's likely to be the best place to look to check if the driver has been updated?
It's been so damn long since I looked for printer drivers for OS X I just don't know where to look.

CUPS? Common Unix Printing Solution ( or System) may help.

The printer is being used wirelessly, does it need to be AirPrint compatible to be used in this way with Mountain Lion?

This is all being done via remote support, so not the most ideal of situations for me, but thanks for the help.
