Any ideas......

My wireless seems to drop off i.e. full disconnect, loss of IP address, etc when I upload pictures to Flickr. The first one will upload, maybe the second, but by the third you can guarantee the connection is lost. Files are typically 1-5MB. The wireless seems solid apart from that. Even when mine disconnects the missus laptop is still on so I presume its not the fault of the BT HomeHub (2.0). I'm using the onboard wireless on an Asus P5 board (cant remember the exact model) using WPA/WPA2, although it still happened when I changed to WEP.

Have you looked in the logs?

Are there any software updates available?

Update....

The PC is upstairs and the HomeHub downstairs so when the wireless disconnected during uploads there was something else I was missing. I turns out that when uploading large (well... over a few meg!!) files the HomeHub actually reboots. As in a full power on/off cycle!

WTF.

I only found this out the other day when uploading a Forza 3 movie on the Xbox and saw the hub reboot. I was gobsmacked. A quick google showed others with the same problem and conversations with BT have resulted in the following excuses; 1) its a security feature, it only happens when uploading with no download activity 2) its a fault with the firmware or 3) its being fixed in the July update.

As its now October I didnt get excuse 3. I got a modified version i.e. it will be fixed next month. I was about to tell them to shove it but he didnt deny the issue, he went on to say its affecting a large number of people and they're genuinely working on the problem.

In the meantime I can upload to Flickr for example of I have an active download at the same time (Internet radio would work) but I'm pretty screwed trying to upload Xbox content unless I trail a cable accross the lounge - its only fails on the wireless apparently.

Ah so that's what it was doing to me over the summer! I tried many, many times to upload photos to eBay, without success. I actually blamed the Java engine on the PC, when apparently it was the fecking Home Hub! Come back Java, all is forgiven!
