Does anyone know if there's a software, (that ideally, but not essentially, works with either Outlook or a Joomla-enabled website) that would :

• email invites to an members list,
• collate RSVP's chronologically to fill a fixed (but adjustable) allowance,
• maintain a standby list (of chronologically received RSVP's post reaching allowance)
• email each standee (in order) when an RSVP is rescinded

?

maybe mail-merge to email in word would do most of what you want..........

Mailchimp.com? I don't use it myself, so don't know all its features, but worth checking out maybe.

Have you considered thinking outside the box. I have an idea that might fit your needs. Look on the iOS App Store for wedding planning software come covers RSVP's and seating arrangements.
