Hi

Does anyone here have any experience with Logic Express 9? I wanted to know if you can backsave to previous versions from it. The reason being, the studio we use to record music uses and older version so can't open our Garageband demos - so we wanted something we could open and resave them in ourselves without needing to buy the full kit (and also do more advanced work if need be). Either that or will the Logic Pro 9 on the App Store so this? (as it's the same price).

We don't want to upgrade yet though if it won't help us with the problem!

When I used to use a Performa 5200 (running System 7) and Logic 3 (I think), the studio at school were using eMacs and Logic 5 or 6. I used to have to export my work to MIDI then import it on the other machine. It worked OK, but didn't export any of my environment, which got rather complex in the end...

I know someone who will know. Bear with me.

Apparently its not backward compatible - so we'll have to think of something else!
