When I've needed a web server, I've always installed Apache. Always. I considered it the de-facto standard.
However, a lot of the busiest websites now use ngnix. Although I only recently heard about it, it's been in use for quite a few years. It seems to have many advantages over Apache.
http://nginx.org/en/I'm migrating our websites onto a new server. Should I stick with what I know, or is it time to move on?
Also, not sure which forum to put this in. It's definitely Network related, but also Interwebs, Open Source and PC Software; or maybe "posting in the meeting place for maximum exposure."?
Thoughts?
Thanks
