Hey guys,
Long story short, I have a VMware vSphere dedicated server hosted with Hetzner.de that I want to access via the VMware vSphere Client, but I'm currently operating in a quite restrictive LAN, where anything outbound has to be tunnelled via a webproxy, specifically over port 443.
I do have an OpenVPN tunnel into the private LAN so I can get to the VMK that way, but I'd like to go direct so that I can play around with the gateway VM (obviously if I reboot that, my VPN drops and I lose the Client connection). I can SSH into the VMK and port forward to localhost, so I'm just after something that I can configure SSH to listen on port 443.
Spec-wise, Ubuntu Linux is preferred, but 128M RAM, 1 CPU and minimal dis would be great as it's just a jump-box. I've already registered at ChunkHost but apparently they're at capacity
Any offers appreciated!
