I can't remember where, but recently I saw a screen capture video of someone using "scrollable" folder-previews on their desktop - not a great description I'll admit - and it could have been a widget/gadget that didn't come OOTB - but if the vague description makes any sense, anyone know what I need to be googling/looking up in control panel?

What exactly did it do, as in what did you see on the screen? Do you mean some sort of pop up window when you hovered the mouse over a folder or something completely different?

The desktop appeared to be broken up in a grid, of about 3x3 icons in size, each with their own (vertical) scroller bar, and IIRC, a title - enabling the user (it's really annoying I can't remember where I saw it now) to essentially have more icons on their desktop, or at least, associated icons organised together.
I've tried to google it - but end up with jumplists and flyouts - which, in a way, are more my thing (since I prefer launching from task bar to desktop)
Basically this all comes down to the fact that I've got way too many programs installed on my machine that I use commonly and want immediately to hand!
