I can't remember where, but recently I saw a screen capture video of someone using "scrollable" folder-previews on their desktop - not a great description I'll admit - and it could have been a widget/gadget that didn't come OOTB - but if the vague description makes any sense, anyone know what I need to be googling/looking up in control panel? |

What exactly did it do, as in what did you see on the screen? Do you mean some sort of pop up window when you hovered the mouse over a folder or something completely different? Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2 |

The desktop appeared to be broken up in a grid, of about 3x3 icons in size, each with their own (vertical) scroller bar, and IIRC, a title - enabling the user (it's really annoying I can't remember where I saw it now) to essentially have more icons on their desktop, or at least, associated icons organised together. I've tried to google it - but end up with jumplists and flyouts - which, in a way, are more my thing (since I prefer launching from task bar to desktop) Basically this all comes down to the fact that I've got way too many programs installed on my machine that I use commonly and want immediately to hand! |
