If I've forgotten the Passcode I set on the DropBox app in my phone, but I still have access to the files in the application on my iPad and Mac, how do I go about resetting the phone Passcode without wiping the contents from the app? Mark |

AFAIK, if you can log in via the website you can just reset it there, then login again from your phone with the new password. YMMV etc. |

A reason to get a password manager, then you only need to remember one password. |

Check Keychain Access on your Mac - search for 'dropbox' at the top - then double-click the entry and click the checkbox next to "Password". It'll ask you to type in yor Mac's administrator password then it'll show you the Dropbox password. |

All sorted. I logged in to the website, unlinked the phone from the service, re-launched the app on the phone, signed in and reset security passcode. Keychain on the Mac didn't have any entries for Dropbox. *shrug* Mark |
