Anyone else getting one? http://www.telegraph.co.uk/technology/n ... ption.htmlhttps://shop.nowtv.com/£10 delivered for a reskinned/limited functionality Roku LT (720p) that is an iPlayer streamer out the box you can sideload Plex onto (or maybe even load a custom ROM) for everything else

Not really. I already have an Apple TV and with a few apps I can stream anything from my computer even if it is not in iTunes. By using airplay I do not need another box.

Can it YouTube? Even for free, I wouldn't want another box if it couldn't.

Mine was dispatched today, I'll let you know when it arrives. Edit: looks like there is of sorts with PlayTo at the very least (dev Plex working is confirmed so if you can watch Youtube on that it's a yes) http://www.rokuguide.com/channels/playtoYou can side load an app, Plex seems the most popular for obvious reasons

Looks neat. When you get a chance , could you let me know what 4OD is like on it? It's bloody awful on the PS3...

There is no 4OD on the standard box, only iPlayer and 5 On Demand, trying to get Plex configured for adding channels but it doesn't seem to like adding them

The only real benefit for me is the movie pass to Sky Movies. At 8.99 a month it is not bad, and I suspect that is the real reason that they are trying to sell it this way. The sports package is so overpriced it will not appeal to me. I just cannot justify the £9.99 per day to watch the American Football, especially because of the time broadcast it will go over two days each week so be very expensive.

Yeah, I remembered what you'd said about Plex and the channels, good luck with it.

Any joy with Plex, or is the project shelved for now?
