I have got the headset you are thinking of buying... soundwise its very good, however I think that comfort is slightly lacking.
Generally I use the headset for a few hours gaming or late night music, but the headset is pretty strong so even when expanded to the correct size for my head (like 2 notches out either side) after usage my ears feel as though they have been compressed into my head.
I think that the headset, although good, is also pretty annoying. For instance the microphone needs to be perfectly positioned to get proper input - for me, if its too close my breathing is evident, to far and i am almost silent. This ussually isnt a issue with a headset (ones ive had anyway), but with the fatil1ty the microphone bends VERY easily, so you keep needing to readjust it.
The foam on the end of the mic goes astray easily - after the fifth time it came off I never saw it again.
Plus the headset isnt very comfortable, unless you have small ears the foam they use around the edge of the headset to cancel out noise just hurts - and isnt like the soft materials you might get on other headsets as the pressure the headset puts on your head eventually makes your ears hurt.
Ill be honest, I only got these because my £40 headset (that was around 4 years old) finally gave up the ghost, they were much nicer and had a great feel, however I couldnt find them again...
You can expand this headset out by 5 notches, which is enough for any head, the sound is a good quality, the headset looks ok - its very plasticy and reminds me of a cheap case - but thats what the money buys I suppose.
For storage you can keep the original plastic cast and fit the headset back into it, however unless you detach the mic you will find yourself bending the mics direction and possibly damaging it at some point (my mic goes in when the pc goes on, and out when it goes off)
You can control the volume through the little control on the wire (suitable height as to not be intrusive) and you can also switch the mic on and off.
The headset has a nice cushion on the top of your head, the ones on the actual phones make background noises quieter (higher noises seem to be more affected). The phones are a solid build, which is pretty good. No chance of you rippin' a phone out of its socket accidently.
Anyway, thats about all I have to say on the headset, its a good price, not such a good fir, you might have a different experience but thats my side of it.
(you might be better off getting a less hefty set which would be more comfortable, just because this one is fatal1ty it doesnt make good for long stints (over 10 minutes actually

)).
